The very fact that you worry about being a good mom (parent)means that you already are one.

In addition to my counselling practice, I also work as a Certified Peaceful Parenting Coach.  In 2015, I was 1 of 15 people worldwide selected to partake in Dr. Laura Markham of Aha!Parenting’s Peaceful Parent Coach certification.  As a parent coach I use relationship based strategies founded on connection and empathy to support children.  This way of parenting sees misbehaviour as a cry for help, noting that children are having a hard time, not purposely trying to give you a hard time.  I help parents develop empathic limits to guide your child/ren – so that you can coach them, as opposed to control them.  Together I work with parent(s) to also better understand their own triggers so that they can co-regulate with their children at the height of big feelings.  I incorporate the neuroscience behind children’s behaviour, so that parents can connect before they correct.

I have a particular interest and training in supporting families with special needs.

I work with parent(s) all over the world – don’t hesitate to reach out..
